TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Colsec website and to enquiries submitted through it. By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. ABOUT COLSEC
This website is operated by Colsec (Pty) Ltd (“Colsec”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a South African company with its principal place of business at Bernhard Road, Cresta, Johannesburg, South Africa. Contact: info@colsec.co.
2. PURPOSE OF THIS WEBSITE
The website provides information about Colsec, our brands, retail and distribution capabilities, wholesale services and business opportunities. It is primarily an information and enquiry website. Unless a page expressly states otherwise, submitting an enquiry or request does not create a binding sale, supply, distribution, agency or other commercial agreement.
3. BUSINESS ENQUIRIES, QUOTATIONS AND ORDERS
Any quotation, order, listing proposal or commercial arrangement is subject to written confirmation and may depend on stock availability, pricing, minimum order quantities, delivery terms, credit approval, compliance requirements and any separate terms agreed by the parties. A binding transaction exists only when accepted in writing by an authorised Colsec representative or otherwise concluded in accordance with applicable law.
Prices, availability, delivery estimates and product ranges may change without notice before a transaction is concluded. Errors or omissions may be corrected. If separate quotation, invoice, account, order or supply terms apply, those terms will govern the relevant transaction to the extent of any inconsistency with these website Terms.
4. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to keep product and brand information accurate. Packaging, ingredients, specifications, colours, images, ranges and availability may change, and images may be illustrative. Always follow the label, instructions, warnings and storage guidance supplied with the product. Contact the relevant seller or Colsec if you need current product information before making a purchase decision.
5. PURCHASES FROM THIRD-PARTY RETAILERS
If you purchased a product from a third-party retailer, marketplace or other seller, your contract of sale is with that seller. Please contact the retailer first, provide proof of purchase and follow its returns, exchange, refund, delivery and complaint process. Colsec cannot issue a refund for money paid to a retailer or change that retailer’s transaction records.
Colsec may assist with product information or an appropriate escalation where reasonably possible. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable law.
6. DIRECT TRANSACTIONS WITH COLSEC
Where you purchase directly from Colsec, the applicable quotation, invoice, order confirmation, account terms and mandatory consumer law will govern returns, refunds, exchanges, delivery and payment. Please contact info@colsec.co with the relevant order or invoice details.
7. RETAILER AND BRAND REFERENCES
Product availability varies by product, region, branch and retailer and is not guaranteed. Retailer names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion identifies a retail channel, relationship or route-to-market connection and does not imply endorsement, exclusivity or guaranteed availability unless expressly stated. Brand names and trademarks belong to Colsec, the relevant brand owner or their licensors.
8. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, accounts, systems or data;
• introduce malware, harmful code or automated traffic that disrupts the website;
• scrape, copy or reuse substantial website content without permission;
• submit false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive or unlawful material;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority; or
• use the website in a way that infringes the rights of Colsec or any third party.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our users or our rights.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business use. No other reproduction, modification, distribution, public display, commercial exploitation or creation of derivative works is permitted without prior written consent from the relevant rights holder.

We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, products, services, terms or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms.

We may maintain, update, suspend or change the website where reasonably necessary. You are responsible for using appropriate security measures and for protecting your own devices and account credentials.
12. LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Colsec is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on general website information. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
13. PRIVACY AND COOKIES
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies used on this website and how you can manage consent. These policies form part of the website terms that apply to your use of the site.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our website, services, business practices or legal obligations. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively from publication unless the law requires otherwise.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent South African courts, without removing any right to approach a consumer commission, ombud, regulator or other forum available under applicable law.
16. GENERAL
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, agency or joint venture relationship between you and Colsec.
